Developmental Milestones - 0-5 years is a unique app for doctors and parents. It is the first app to provide clear guidelines on development, so parents can quickly know what is normal and doctors can know which developmental patterns should raise concern.
Either browse the milestones by age or enter the date or birth of the child. The calculator takes into account prematurity and will allow you to view the milestones appropriate for the child in front of you.
Milestones are clearly broken down into four categories: speech and language; gross motor; fine motor; and social. Each category gives succinct bullet-points as a guide for you. There is also a special category for Red Flag Signs to let health professionals know what particular developmental delay should encourage you to complete a more formal developmental assessment.

For speech and language there is very little there. Not really useful. Not worth even the low price. I hope doctors wont depend on this for speech/language referrals.
I like this app! It is one of the few that adjusts age considering prematurity. The red flags are helpful. This app has the info that Im looking for with out a lot of the stuff Im not. Also, it works well and is user friendly.
This has been a very helpful tool for me to figure out how my son is progressing. I like how it is broken into age ranges and kinds of skills. It is also very easy to use.
I expected to be able to add multiple children and check off milestones for each child. I am surprised that the only child milestone app is common (read only) information available online and costs $3. Rated two stars for the value.
Dont waste your money. You can google everything on this app. Wish I had known.
